PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closed type fire extinguishing head which is hardly deformed and can surely protect a thermosensitive body even when a structure for supporting the thermosensitive body is applied with a force from the thermosensitive body, and is made small in size and low in cost, since the structure for supporting the thermosensitive body does not affect the radial distribution of a fire extinguishing agent. SOLUTION: The closed type fire extinguishing head 1 includes: a fire extinguishing head body 10 with a discharge port 101 for discharging the fire extinguishing agent; a pip cap 11 brought into press contact with the discharge port 101; the thermosensitive body 14 deformed or decomposed at a prescribed temperature, and directly or indirectly supporting the pip cap 11; a screen 12 provided so as to surround the discharge port 101 and the vicinity thereof; and a frame 15 extended through the screen 12 from the inside of a space surrounded by the screen 12 to the outside, for supporting the thermosensitive body 14.
