The invention relates to drainage means for carrying out vacuum-assisted wound treatment. The aim of the invention is to provide drainage means for treating large and deep surface wounds, which can be introduced by the surgeon into the wound in an accurately fitting manner and without complications, said drainage means not being perceived by the patient as disturbing or painful. To achieve this aim, the drainage means (1) inserted in the wound (2) consists of one or more prefabricated bags that are closed on all sides, the outer casing (10) thereof having a plurality of entrance openings (11) and a bag is filled with a particulate filling material (12) to at least a third but not more than two thirds of its maximum holding capacity. |
