<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote communication between speakers while restricting the use of images in which the speakers are photographed. <P>SOLUTION: A condition for switching an image is presented to a communication terminal which performs a video-phone call. When a user of the communication terminal responds to the presented condition, the image displayed on the communication terminal is switched corresponding to the response. The term "condition" here means, for example, answering a question rightly. More specifically, at the beginning of the video-phone call, an avatar image is displayed on the communication terminal, and the question is given to the user at a proper timing afterward.
