The invention relates to a tracking method implemented by a tracking device that comprises a radiocommunication module for receiving radiocommunication carriers. The method comprises: a configuration phase comprising the step of selecting (E1) reference carriers among carriers detected by the radiocommunication module in reference geographical position of the tracking device; a utilisation phase comprising the following steps for at least one current geographical position of the tracking device: determining (E3) the current carriers detected by the radiocommunication module; detecting a movement of the tracking device (E4, E5, E6) by comparing the current carriers with the reference carriers. |
