<p>The projectile (1) has a body (2) forming a perforating envelope that encloses expanding material (8). The expanding material radially accelerates material of the envelope under pressure due to perforation. A ballistic warhead (6) is provided at front end of the projectile. The expanding material is extended beyond the envelope for filling entire internal volume of the warhead and ensuring mechanical holding of the warhead. The material has an annular face (16) supported against a cylindrical front surface of the envelope.</p> |
