<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which safety at over-charge is improved. <P>SOLUTION: This is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery that comprises an electrode group 1 containing a positive electrode 2, a negative electrode 3, and an non-aqueous electrolyte and a container made of a sheet in which the electrode group 1 is housed. The above container is sealed in substance by a bonding layer 12 that is obtained by thermal adhesion of a polyethylene system resin and at least a part of the above bonding layer 12 is swollen at its end part on inner face side of the container, and the non-aqueous electrolyte contains halogenated aromatic hydrocarbon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
