In an image information sharing system (6) including a mobile terminal devices (1-1) and (1-2), both mobile terminal devices (1-1) and (1-2) are set on a network (3) and accessible to an image data base (4) for memorizing a plurality of image files. The mobile terminal device (1-1) acquires address information indicative of an address of an image file memorized in the image data base (4) on the network (3) and transmits the acquired address to the mobile terminal device (1-2). The mobile terminal device (1-2) receives the address information from the mobile terminal device (1-1), acquires an image file from the image data base (4) based on the received address, and displays the acquired image file.
