A method and an apparatus for transmitting low power in wireless networks are provided to reduce power consumption by properly controlling a transmission power according to reception intensity. A transmission power for a target device is searched by using an intensity of a received signal. The transmission power for the target device is determined, and then is registered on a transmission power managing table. A wanted data is transmitted to the target device by using the received power registered on the transmission power managing table. The searching step includes detecting an intensity of a first received signal in the data received from the target device through a coordinator, setting the transmission power of the coordinator and verifying whether the set transmission power is within a normal range of the data transmission. |
