<p>A system for selling property is disclosed. The system comprises a web server providing an online auction system that is adapted to provide details of a property item for review. One or more bids one from or more bidders are received. The bidders are entities wanting to win an option to purchase the property item. The successful bidder is then determined. The successful bidder is the person entitled to receive an option to purchase the property item. The option to buy the property gives the successful bidder the exclusive right to buy the property at the successful bid price for a limited time period, after which the successful bidder no longer has the exclusive right to buy the property.</p> |
