PLASMA BURNER AND DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER TRAP

A plasma burner and diesel particulate filter trap are provided to remove particulate matters within exhaust gas through oxidation of exhaust gas and maximize space arrangement surrounding a muffler. A diesel particulate filter trap comprises the following elements. A filter is connected to a muffler on the opposite side of an engine. A plasma burner(100) heats exhaust gas using plasma discharge between the engine and the filter. A fuel inlet pipe(12) connects the plasma burner and a fuel tank. The plasma burner comprises the following elements. A fuel inlet(22) supplies fuel, connected to the fuel inlet pipe. An electrode tube(50) provides a space in which fuel flows, connected to the fuel inlet. A ground electrode(70) is installed away from one end of the electrode tube. A discharge gas inlet(26) takes in discharge gas mixed with fuel. A base(40) forms the fuel inlet. A reactor(60) is connected to the discharge gas inlet, with the electrode built in away from the inner wall.
