A METHOD OF PROVIDING AN ACCESS REQUEST TO A SAME SERVER BASED ON A UNIQUE IDENTIFIER

Typically, within most networks, user information takes time to propagate from one server to another to ensure that critical information is uniform throughout the network. Therefore when a user logs-in to the network it is important for the end user computer terminal (10) to authenticate the user against the most current user information before granting the user access to the network. In many cases the user information is not updated immediately across the entire network and therefore the same user wishing to obtain access from another terminal (10) within the network may be declined access. Therefore it would be advantageous to transform data unique to the user to determine a value indicative of a same destination server (13) for serving the access request, regardless of the end user client terminal from which access is desired.
