An oven with a vertically moveable shelf is disclosed. The oven has a drawer located in a heated cabinet. The drawer is able to move to a position partially outside the cabinet when a door (2) is opened. A shelf (10) is located within the drawer and is supported by a framework that controls vertical movement of the shelf.
