PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the joint of the peripheral wall part of an exhaust passage from being cracked by thermal deformation or vibration in the exhaust system of an engine. SOLUTION: The exhaust passage from the exhaust port of the engine to an exhaust muffler is formed by the peripheral wall member of the exhaust passage. A Y-shaped integrated object 34 integrally including a second exhaust pipe 24, an expansion tube 25, and a branch exhaust pipe 26 is provided as the peripheral wall member of the exhaust passage for instance, and an end part in the circumferential direction of the Y-shaped integrated object 34 has the joint 35 jointed by welding. A reinforcement plate 50 is secured in a prescribed region containing the joint 35 on the inner peripheral surface of the Y-shaped integrated object 34 by a securing means such as welding or the like.
