PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct deformation of a curtain rail which is caused by buckling or other external force, only by inserting a joint for curtain rail connection into the curtain rail so that runners can smoothly run along the curtain rail. SOLUTION: A runner insertion hole 3 of the curtain rail 1 or 1 and a through hole 6 to be disposed in such a state as overlapping inside/outside with the runner insertion hole 3 are opened on one side face of the joint 2 in the longitudinal direction. Guide pieces 2b and 2b are provided to be bent at opening edges of strip pieces 2a and 2a facing both sides of the through hole 6. Strip pieces 1a and 1a are retained in such a state as facing both ends of the runner insertion hole 3 and the runner insertion hole 3 is retained at a prescribed width by engaging the guide pieces 2b and 2b with the opening edges of the strip pieces 1a and 1a of the curtain rail 1 or 1 facing both ends of the runner insertion hole 3.
