PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air purifying agent which causes neither chronic damage nor environmental pollution to human bodies during use, and is made by using natural materials. SOLUTION: The air purifying agent is a product which improves the quality of air by vaporizing in the air, especially uses tea leaves as a main material. The air purifying agent is made by mainly using tea leaves as a main material, adding starch and alginic acid to the tea leaves, and finally uniformly mixing them in water, and heating, drying, and coagulating them. When the quantity of the agent is small, put the agent on a heater to heat. The agent gives off a smell of natural tea and purifies air. When the quantity of the agent is large, the agent is packed into a bed mattress, a square floor cushion, a chair cushion or the like. The agent emits a natural smell of tea and purifies air.
