<p>A touch-based tab navigation method and a related device are provided to enable a user to navigate through menu options using a touch-sense input device. A touch-based tab navigation method comprises the following steps of: sequentially arranging tabs in a linear direction on the display of a portable digital information terminal, and displaying a set of the first tabs which include tabs, a subset of tabs included in master tabs; receiving a touch input from a user when the user touches a touch responsive area(104) of the digital information terminal, and then he/she drags the first tabs with his/her finger; changing positions of displayed tabs according to the linear direction on the display unit(102); and displaying a set of the second tabs, subsets of tabs included in the master tabs.</p> |
