<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a piston for a hydraulic clutch while improving the sealability of a fitting portion between a piston body 1 and a seal ring 2. <P>SOLUTION: This piston for the hydraulic clutch includes the piston body 1, and the seal ring 2 fitted to the piston body 1. The seal ring 2 includes: a metal ring 21 formed of a fitting cylindrical portion 21a fitted to the cylindrical portion 12 of the piston body 1 and a flange portion 21b extending from the axial one end of the fitting cylindrical portion to a radial direction and axially opposed to the pressure receiving portion 11 of the piston body 1; and a seal body 22 formed of rubber elastic material and integrally provided to the metal ring 21. The seal body 22 has: a first seal lip 221 brought into tight contact with the inner surface of a clutch cylinder 3; a second seal lip 222 extending from the end of the flange portion 21b and brought into tight contact with the pressure receiving portion 11; and an axially compressed seal portion 223 provided to the flange portion 21b and interposed in an axially compressed manner between the pressure receiving portion 11 and the flange portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
