<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information recording medium of a Blu-ray disk constitution capable of exhibiting satisfactory recording characteristics upon recording by irradiation with short wavelength laser light and reproduction durability. <P>SOLUTION: The optical information recording medium 10A has a reflection layer, a recording layer 14, a barrier layer 20, an adhesive layer 22 and a cover layer 16 in this order on a surface of a substrate having a pre-groove having 50 to 500 nm track pitch in the surface. The recording layer 14 contains at least one azo dyestuff compound selected from the group consisting of an azo compound and an azo metal complex compound containing an azo compound and a metal ion or a metal oxide ion, and the azo dyestuff compound has a refractive index of 1.45 to 1.75 and an extinction coefficient of 0.15 to 0.3 in 405 nm wavelength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
