PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of assemblability of a drive shaft due to the rise of the pressure in the space partitioned by the outer ring and a boot of a sliding constant velocity joint. SOLUTION: The sliding tripod constant velocity joint 30 comprises the outer ring 32 and an inner ring 31 stored in the storage compartment 42 of the outer ring 32. A shaft 10 driven together with the inner ring 31 is fitted in the inner ring 31. The storage compartment 42 is sealed by the boot 36 extensible according to the relative displacement of the outer ring to the shaft 10. A pressure relieving compartment 50 isolated from the storage compartment 42 by an isolation member 51 is formed in the shaft part 35 of the outer ring 32. When the pressure in the storage compartment 42 rises, the isolation member 51 is displaced to the pressure relieving compartment 50 side, and the volume of the storage compartment 42 is increased. When the pressure in the storage compartment 42 is lowered, the isolation member 51 is displaced to the storage compartment 42 side, and the volume of the storage compartment 42 is reduced.
