<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device, for storing an electronic document generated based on a stored electronic document according to the stored electronic document. <P>SOLUTION: The document management device stores a plurality of electronic documents, transmits, upon receipt of a document transmitting request from a user device, a requested document to the user device, and stores information associating the user who requested the transmission of the document with the target document as history information of the transmission.
