PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression device wherein oil in both compression chambers of low stage side and high stage side compressors is prevented from running short, a quantity of oil getting up to a refrigerant circuit can be substantially reduced, and an oil level can be kept constant. SOLUTION: This compression device 1 is equipped with a plurality of high pressure dome compressors 2, 3, an oil separator 4, an oil return passage 5, and a low stage side oil removing passage 6. A plurality of the high pressure dome compressors 2, 3 include at least a low stage side compressor 2 and a high stage side compressor 3. The high stage side compressor 3 is connected in series to the discharge side of the low stage side compressor 2. The oil separator 4 is disposed on the discharge side of the high stage side compressor 3. The oil return passage 5 returns oil to the suction pipe 19a of the low stage side compressor 2 from the oil separator 4. The low stage side oil removing passage 6 is a passage to lead the surplus oil of the low stage side compressor 2 to the suction pipe 19b of the high stage side compressor 3.
