PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft material filling method for squeezing a soft material even into a depth of a deep gap. SOLUTION: The soft material filling method is implemented by using a squeezing tool 10 which is formed of a disk-shaped roller 11 and a grip 20 supporting the roller 11. The grip 20 has: a grip body 21 having a rather thick thickness and formed like an almost rectangular plate; a pair of thin plate-shaped support pieces 22, 22 protruding from a front end of the grip body 21; and a projective piece 24 protruding from a rear end of the grip body 21. When the soft material 7 is squeezed into a gap between a heat insulation board 6 and a stud 4, the soft material 7 is arranged along the gap, and squeezed into the grip by means of the roller 11 of the squeezing tool 10, followed by moving the squeezing tool 10 along the gap.
