PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric oscillator which has a package storing a piezoelectric element therein and an oscillation circuit board having a circuit element mounted thereon, joined with high precision though being formed in a small size, and a method of manufacturing the same, and to provide a cellular phone unit and an electronic apparatus which utilize the oscillator. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric oscillator 10 is provided with an oscillation circuit board 50 which has a circuit element 54 mounted thereon and has a connection terminal 60 electrically connected to the circuit element 54 and a piezoelectric vibrator 21 which is joined to the oscillation circuit board 50 so as to have an external terminal 44 exposed to the outside of a package 30, in a position opposed to the connection terminal 60 and has a piezoelectric element 20 stored in the package, and the piezoelectric oscillator is provided with a conductor 62 for electrically connecting an external terminal 44 and the connection terminal 60 by welding and a position control means 64 which is provided on the oscillation circuit board 50 and/or the piezoelectric vibrator 21 and positions the conductor 62 so as to arrange it at the connection terminal 44 and/or the external terminal 60.
