<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for allowing an operator to recognize the existence of paper residing in paper storage parts for a long period and to take preventive measures for feeding jam which may caused by the paper. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises the paper storage parts 2 (20, 21) for storing paper, and paper runout detecting parts 20a, 21a for detecting the existence or not of the paper stored in the paper storage parts. Herein, there are provided a residing condition detecting means 30 for detecting the residing condition of the paper stored in the paper storage parts 2 (20, 21) after the paper runout detecting parts 2a, 21a detect the runout of the paper, and an informing means 31 for informing of information about the paper stored in the paper storage parts 2 (20, 21) when the residing condition detecting means 30 detects that the residing condition is a predetermined residing condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
