<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document authenticity protection device intending to enhance the secrecy of a document (a sheet), to secure authenticity (a master copy), and to prevent forging. <P>SOLUTION: The document authenticity protection device has a document conveying device 3 conveying the document received from a document receiving opening 3a to a stack tray 9 through a conveying path 3c, a covering seal affixing device 4 affixing a covering seal on a writing portion of the information the secrecy of which should be kept of the document, a covering seal abnormality sensor 18 detecting the affixing abnormality of the covering seal, a hologram affixing device 3d affixing a hologram showing the authenticity of the document to the necessary site of the document, a hologram abnormality detecting sensor 19 detecting the affixing abnormality of the hologram, a shifting gate 8 reversibly shifting the conveying path from a document housing chamber to an error document housing chamber, and a control device 11 controlling so as to make the conveying path communicate with a reject tray 10 by a shifting gate when receiving at least one of the abnormality detecting signal from the covering seal affixing abnormality detecting means and the abnormality detecting signal from the hologram abnormality detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
