PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyance system that improves a system operation rate. SOLUTION: The conveyance system is composed by using a container 10 for holding articles and a conveyance vehicle 20 for conveying articles together with the container 10. The container 10 is provided with a tank 11 and a plug 12 that supplies fuel stored in the tank 11 to the conveyance vehicle 20 when the container is loaded on the conveyance vehicle 20. The conveyance vehicle 20 is provided with a tank 21, a socket 22, which is connected with the plug 12 so as to acquire fuel when the container 10 is loaded on the conveyance vehicle, a pump 23 for replenishing the acquired fuel to the tank 21, and a fuel cell 24 and a motor 25 that drive the conveyance vehicle with fuel stored in the tank 21. A replenishing station 30 is provided in a load-handling place or the like in order to replenish fuel to the tank 11 when the container 10 is unloaded from the conveyance vehicle 20.
