PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording control device and a control method of the same capable of reproducing latest programs using prescribed operations. SOLUTION: The disclosed device includes a program reservation information registering part (56a1) for setting recording reservation and a recording control part (56a4) for recording a program as the object of recording reservation set by the program reservation information registering part in a recording medium. A reproduction control part reproduces a program, last recorded in the recording medium by the recording reservation according to prescribed operations.
