PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker unit which is made compact by forming a duct at the back face side of a speaker, and supporting the back face of the speaker by a member configuring the duct. SOLUTION: The speaker unit 1 is provided with a casing where an opening 13 is formed at a front part 11 and a communicative hole 22 is formed at a back face part 21; a speaker 500 arranged in the casing in a state that a sound output face 510 is exposed from the opening 13; and ribs 25a and 25b as support members formed in the neighborhood of the communicative hole 22 on the inside face 24 of the casing for supporting the sound output face 510 and a back face 530 at the opposite side in the speaker 500. Then, the ribs 25a and 25b are provided with a communicative hole 23a whose one end is connected to the communicative hole 22, and which is configured of a continuous space connecting the inside of the casing to the outside of the casing.
