PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide easy-to-use towel cloth preventing friction between warps by changing arrangement of warps of towel cloth and preventing negative effects such as reed fold and rear pile phenomenon which may happen when reversing the direction in which piles appear by improvement of a weaving structure. SOLUTION: In the towel cloth in which a plurality of wefts 9 are woven into a group of base warps 3 to weave towel base structure 2 and pile warp 5 is woven on the surface or rear surface or both surfaces of towel cloth structure 2 to form piles, a pair of base warps 3a and 3b and pile warps 5a and 5b are alternately arranged and they are alternately inserted into each dent of reed and a set of three wefts 9 is drawn from a shed formed of the base warp 3 and the pile warp 5 to carry out beating up and piles 7 are formed in the towel cloth structure 2 by terry motion and when the pile warp 5 is arbitrarily reversed, the base warp 3 is simultaneously reversed through transitional one repeat structure.
