A biaxially oriented polypropylene film that even in an atmosphere of high temperature, such as 80°C or above, exhibits excellent high withstand voltage and protectiveness characteristics. There is provided a biaxially oriented polypropylene film consisting of a polypropylene film constituted of a polypropylene resin composed mainly of propylene, characterized in that at least one of the film surfaces has a base layer with pearskin finish quality unevenness, the at least one surface exhibiting a 10-point average roughness (Rz) of 0.5 to 1.5 mum and a surface glossiness of 90 to 135%. |
