DEVICE, EQUIPMENT AND METHOD FOR STICKING RUBBER STRIP TO TIRE BLANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for sticking a rubber strip to a tire blank. SOLUTION: A sticking device (12) has rubber extruders (28). Each rubber extruder has an extruding orifice (34) so as to shape the rubber strip (B) and to deliver it from the extruder. The orifice is composed of a roller (36) that is rotatably fitted to the extruder. The device (12) also has a thrusting means (58) so that the roller is pressed to the blank and that the rubber strip is sticked to the blank by the roller. The extruder is rotatably provided in an axial direction so as to form a lever on which the thrust means acts for pressing the roller to the strip. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
