<p>There are included a mixer circuit and a linear range compensating circuit that compensates for the linear range of the output characteristic of the mixer circuit. The mixer circuit has a load resistor connected between an output terminal and a power supply line. When a midpoint voltage of the output voltage of the mixer circuit is higher than the midpoint voltage in a case where a wide linear range can be obtained, the linear range compensating circuit increases the amount of the current flowing through the load resistor of the mixer circuit, thereby increasing the amount of voltage drop at the load resistor thereof. When the midpoint voltage of the output voltage of the mixer circuit is lower than the midpoint voltage in a case where a wide linear range can be obtained, the linear range compensating circuit reduces the amount of the current flowing through the load resistor of the mixer circuit, thereby reducing the amount of voltage drop at the load resistor thereof. In this way, the midpoint voltage of the output voltage of the mixer circuit is controlled such that the linear range becomes wide.</p> |
