<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely take pictures of a desired area, with a vehicular photographic device mounted on a vehicle to take pictures inside or around the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: When an unauthentic action on the vehicle is detected and an abnormality (an unauthentic action) is determined by a control ECU 30 based on a signal from an in-vehicle abnormality detection sensor 40 detecting a portion suffering the unauthentic action, the control ECU 30 drives a camera drive actuator 20 to direct a vehicle interior photographing camera 10 to the portion where the abnormality is detected. The vehicle interior photographing camera 10 is started to take pictures of the area including the portion where the abnormality is detected.
