PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for vehicle which can be arranged at the most appropriate position as a get-in/out assisting tool when an aged person or a physically disabled person gets in/out of the vehicle, has versatility to be adoptable even when the shape of an upper edge part in the door lining of the vehicle is different, and is inexpensive in cost. SOLUTION: A handrail body includes a fixing means to the upper edge part of a door lining, and a finger put-on part for putting fingers is formed on a surface facing side-door window glass in a fixing state to the upper edge part of the door lining. A hook member, including: an insertion part to a gap between the door lining of the vehicle and the window glass, which is arranged in one part; and a joint means with the handrail body, which is arranged in the other part, is used as the fixing means of the handrail for the vehicle. A joint means between the other part of the hook member and the handrail body includes a means for relatively adjusting a distance to the insertion part of the hook member with respect to the handrail body.
