<p>The cutting plate (10) is fastenable at a pivotable tool holder under an axial angle different from zero, and formed by a trapezoidal disk body. Free surfaces are formed by the disk body. The disk body in the form of an equilateral rhombus is provided with cutting edges (20, 22) at edges of the rhombus, where flat sides of two approximately parallel cutting edges are provided with associated cutting surfaces and pairs of cutting edges are assigned to a flat side of different pairs of edges of the rhombus.
