FRONT BUMPER FOR AN AUTOMOBILE

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a generally symmetrical front bumper for an automobile as shown in the drawings; the front bumper has side surfaces and a front surface having a central grill area opening therein; the central grill area opening has rearwardly angled bottom and side surfaces with rounded corners between the bottom and side surfaces; the side surfaces of the central grill areaopening converge upwards and the bottom surface has spaced-apart generally identical protuberances thereon; the front surface of the bumper above the grill area opening curves smoothly outwards and rearwards and merges through curved corner areas into the side surfaces; the bottom edge of the front bumper has a raised area situated generally in alignment with the central grill area opening; the front surface extends upwards and curves slightly rearwards above the grill area opening to an upper area of the front bumper; the upper area curves upwards and inwards to a central section having a pair of spaced-apart outwardly angled projecting members extending upwards therefrom with the inner surfaces of the projecting members sloping downwards and inwards to a short horizontal portion of the top surface of the front bumper; outside the angled projecting members, the upper area has upper edges which slope upwards and curve rearwards; the front surface of the front bumper has a pair of mirror image generally trapezoidal open areas in front view on either side of the grill area opening, the trapezoidal open areas having rounded corners and beveled bottom and side surfaces; the side surfaces have concave curved rear edges in elevation view.Diagrams of the design are included.Fig. 1 is a right front perspective view of the design of the front bumper for an automobile;Fig. 2 is a front elevation view thereof;Fig. 3 is a top plan view thereof;Fig. 4 is a right side elevation view thereof; andFig. 5 is a left side elevation view thereof.The stippled lines in the drawings do not form part of the design.
