A method and a system for providing a wireless/wired video call by linking with a subscriber database are provided to enable a service provider to increase a profit and to enable a user to receive a stable video call connection service since a call setup time is reduced and an efficient routing is performed without plural routing processes. A system for providing a wireless/wired video call includes a receiver(401), a checking unit(402), a determining unit(403) and an acting unit(404). The receiver receives an invite message for a call receiving terminal on a receiving network linkable with a VoIP network from a VoIP terminal connected to a VoIP network. The checking unit checks whether the receiving network is a mobile network including the 3G network. The determining unit determines a routing scheme of the invite message by analyzing the invite message and using a subscriber database of a mobile network in case that the receiving network is the mobile network. The acting unit performs a routing operation according to the determined routing scheme. |
