A stopper ring of a water pipe connecting device is provided to prevent the separation of a pipe after tightening and to have excellent assembly efficiency by keeping the projecting angle of presses formed on the upper inner circumferential surface of a stopper ring at equal angles, and to reduce tensile force added on a stopper ring and to reduce the force required for compression when tightening by forming cutting parts on the outer circumferential surface of a stopper ring deeply. A stopper ring of a water pipe connecting device comprises a connecting pipe inserted between neighboring water pipes and provided with flanges to connect a water pipe to the upper and lower parts, and a connector composed of a sealing ring, a stopper ring(320), a pressure device, a ring washer and fasteners to seal the water pipe inserted to the opening of the connecting pipe and the connecting pipe and to connect the water pipe and the connecting pipe not to be separated. In addition, at least one or more presses(321) extended in the circumferential direction are formed on the inner circumferential surface contacted with the outer circumferential surface of the water pipe inserted to the connecting pipe, and inserted to the outer circumferential surface of the water pipe if the stopper ring is tightened to keep the water pipe not to fall out from the stopper ring easily. The press comprises a lower inclined part projected to be inclined upward, and an upper inclined part formed to be inclined upward from the projecting end of the lower inclined part, wherein the lower inclined part and the upper inclined part are kept at the same angles against the projecting end to be projected at equal angles as a whole. |
