A soil improving mesh cage for the growth of transplanted trees is provided to promote plant growth and reduce the growing cost, administrative cost and labor cost. A mesh cage(30) for soil improvement comprises: expanded perlite with excellent porosity filled in open-weave jute mesh(32); and natural pulp(34) attached to the inside of the open-weave jute mesh. A rooting promoter to promote rooting of root is added to the interior of the natural pulp to encourage root establishment. A slow release complex fertilizer mixed with inorganic matter is added to the expended perlite. |
