<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of reducing a processing load at a time when a coding system of a video data is converted. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 1 has a tuner 125 for digital broadcast, an interface 155 recording the video data to an HDD 117 and reading the video data from the HDD 117 and a video decoder 157 outputting feature information displaying the feature of the video data while decoding the video data recorded at the HDD 117 by the interface 155 to a signal outputted to a graphic controller 107.
