PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip capacitor capable of improving a resistance to vibration of the capacitor mounted on a printed-circuit board and capable of easily mounted on the printed-circuit board. SOLUTION: The chip capacitor 1 comprises a capacitor 3 housed in an exterior frame 2 having a housing space 7 fitted to an appearance shape of the capacitor 3, and a lead wire 6 which is led out from the capacitor 3 then led out from one end part of the exterior frame 2 and connected to the printed-circuit board. Catching protruding parts 17, 18 having catching nails 15, 16 are provided in a protruding condition facing to the printed-circuit board at the one end part and the other end part of the exterior frame 2, and engaged and fixed to the part to be engaged provided to the printed-circuit board.
