PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for notifying an HDD of a head retraction control signal or return control signal by an exclusive signal notification line. SOLUTION: In the information processor including a recording device which is constituted by the HDD, existence of a status change from the dropping state to non-dropping state, or from the non-dropping state to dropping state, is discriminated by a detection information of an acceleration sensor, and the head retraction control signal or the head return control signal is notified to the HDD through the exclusive signal line which connects between a control means and the recording device, in accordance with circumstances of the status change. By this configuration, the immediate head retraction/return operation are attained without a delay such as a standby for termination of a command under execution. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
