PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane pump capable of sufficiently securing delivery flow rate even when a rotor is rotated at high speed. SOLUTION: A return channel 24 returning part of working fluid delivered from a fluid delivery path 22 to a fluid suction path 20 is formed on a pump housing of a vane pump 10 with straightly communicating to the fluid suction path 20. A restriction part 25 is formed in the return channel 24 in such a manner a channel diameter gets thinner toward the fluid suction path 20, and a hole diameter at a downstream side of the restriction part 25 is set smaller than hole diameter at an upstream side of the fluid suction path 20.
