OPTICAL TRANSMITTER/RECEIVER USING WAVELENGTH STABILIZATION LIGHT SOURCE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an optical filter on a receiver side to the optimal operating point corresponding to an optical frequency of a light source on a transmitting side with sufficient precision in an optical transmitter/receiver.

SOLUTION: A transmission center frequency of an optical filtering means is adjusted using non-modulation continuous light. The non-modulation continuous light is used by being branched from a wavelength stabilization light source in an optical transmitting part of the self-luminous transmitter/receiver. Otherwise, the non-modulation continuous light is used by being separated from a wavelength multiplexing optical modulation signal arriving from the opposite optical transmitter/receiver.
