PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve vibration resistance of an electric power storage system used for a long period at an environment where steady vibration is given. SOLUTION: Module cases of a plurality of lithium ion secondary battery are placed on a cubicle type shelf. A plurality of single batteries are arranged in respective module cases. The single battery is supported from the bottom of the module case in a floating state via a leaf spring. The adjacent single batteries are electrically connected with each other by a corrugated sheet-like metal plate. The adjacent battery modules are electrically connected with each other by a corrugated sheet-like metal plate. A monitoring circuit for monitoring conditions of the lithium ion secondary battery is supported in the front of the module case in a state that it floats horizontally from the module case, via a framework-like elastic member.
