PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveying device capable of enhancing the positional alignment of a conveying guide means with respect to a driving roller and a driven roller, and an image forming device having the same. SOLUTION: The sheet conveying device comprises a feed and conveyance guide 5 which is turnably provided on a device body to guide conveyed sheets, a driving roller 6 which is provided on the device body and driven and rotated to give the conveying force to the sheet conveyed along the feed and conveyance guide 5, a roller which is provided on the feed and conveyance guide 5 and urged by the driving roller 6 and driven and rotated, a spring for urging the roller to the driving roller 6, and a lock arm 15 in which a locking part is locked to a driving roller bearing 24 for pivotably supporting the driving roller 6 to lock the feed and conveyance guide 5 to the device body. When the lock arm 15 is locked to the driving roller bearing 24, the locking part is urged in the locking direction to the driving roller bearing 24 by the reaction force of the urging force by the spring.
