PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly connect image data even if the sensitivities of receiving coils for detecting MR signal are different from one another in a MRI apparatus. SOLUTION: An image data storage section stores a plurality of reconstructed image data associated with information related to the receiving coils detecting magnetic resonance signals to become bases of respective image data, a dynamic range correction section corrects dynamic ranges of the respective image data to prescribed reference values based on the information related to the receiving coils corresponding to the respective image data for every piece of image data stored by the image data storage section 103, and an image composition section 108 connects the respective image data whose dynamic ranges are corrected by the dynamic range correction section 107, in the body axis direction to compose them into a single image.
