The system has a screen element (20) protecting connections of multi-phase switch components against blowing out gas of a connection-lateral multi-phase switch component. The screen element includes an edge region (21) which is formed to define a passage (22) for connecting cables of switch components. A surface of the screen element is made of non-flammable and electrically non-conductive material such as plastic. A finger protection protects the connections of the switch components from contact with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for reduction of blow out-gas-caused disturbances in an electrical distributing system.
