CYP1B1 NUCLEIC ACID AND METHOD OF USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid containing transcriptional units that encode CYP1B1 polypeptide or portions thereof, wherein the transcriptional unit lacks sequences found in the untranslated region (UTR) of naturally occurring form of the CYP1B1 transcript.

SOLUTION: The nucleic acid lacks translational repressor elements and thus provides for a system of enhanced translation of the CYP1B1 polypeptide or portions thereof. The polypeptide encoded by the nucleic acid is useful for inducing immunological response in a mammal and used in administering to mammal and use in the treatment of proliferative disorder or cancer.
