Compsn. comprises a novel fluid silicone based intermediate of a copolymer (I) polydialkyl-alkylepoxysilicone with terminal dialkyl epoxy gps., having a viscosity of 10-10000 cps at 25 degrees C, and a bis-(aryl)iodonium salt of formula (II) (where X is SbF6, AsF6, PF6, or BF4; R is 4-20C (halo)-alkyl and m is 1-5) in amt. sufficient (pref. 0.5-5 wt.%) to catalyse the UV-initiated hardening reaction of the intermediate. The use of bis-(4-dodecyl-phenyl)iodonium salt (IIa) as initiator is specifically claimed. The compsn. is applied to paper, plastics, films (pref. polyethylene, polypropylene or polyester), glass sheets and metal sheets to render them non-adhesive. The compsn. is free from solvents.
